Your Volkswagen: always in the best light – but without dazzling.
The optional Dynamic Light Assist (standard on Edition 75 and R-Line 75) can prevent other road users from being dazzled by your main beam headlight. The system can detect oncoming vehicles and vehicles ahead and mask them out from your main beam area. When driving in built-up areas, the system also automatically switches from main beam to dipped beam. This means that you can drive for longer and more often with the main beam on. Streets are thus better illuminated and obstacles can be detected earlier.
Shows your cockpit in the right light
The white background lighting on the front door openers, decorative door trims and dash panel uses indirect lighting to create a pleasant atmosphere in the interior. The footwell lighting guides the way clearly as you step inside. This feature is available as standard on the Taigo R-Line. And a treat for the eyes too: the LED reading lights in the front are available from the Life equipment line upwards.
Travel Assist
The optional Travel Assist actively helps you to stay in lane. In addition, it helps you to maintain a previously set maximum speed and minimum distance to the vehicle in front. What’s more, you also benefit from predictive cruise control and cornering assistance – your vehicle can react to upcoming bends and roundabouts and adapt its speed to the current traffic rules. Connectivity
Connected with your Volkswagen
The VW Connect system offers access to numerous online services – from vehicle information to scheduling service appointments.
With the Volkswagen App you also have important information such as the parking position or remaining range in view when out and about. You can also have whether the light is switched on or windows and doors are closed displayed.
How about an upgrade?
Many functions can also be activated as an upgrade at a later date – e.g. the navigation for the Ready 2 Discover infotainment package, App‑Connect (to use mobile phone apps via the vehicle display) or the practical voice control.
